YOO HOO--

As you know, our kitchen has needed some TLC these past few years. In fact, she needs regular upkeep in order to stay dry and sturdy for years (and generations!) to come.  After some assessment following the west wall work last year, it has become clear that the kitchen walls needs strawbale repairs sooner rather than later. 

So the walls are getting repaired, by us! July 1-16th we’re coming together to do a major chunk of this integral repair werk. We still need a few more hands to get the work done and folks to support the wall workers with food, etc. 

The time will be spent digging a french drain to help keep water away from the west wall and taking apart and repairing sections of walls that are water damaged. 

We are building out a crew of 12-15ish faeries who want to learn more about our infrastructure and help ensure it stays in good working order for us all.
