Calling all workers, wood spirites & worldly wayward wainsmen,
We'll try to be on the land for a good chunk of September and into
October as we move ahead with building plans now that the land has dried out and
our contractor is able to get onto the land. He started on August 8th so
hopefully, we'll be able to hook up the water system once the septic is laid in.
Plans are to lay the slab foundation, rough in the plumbing, timber frame
part of the kitchen, install the roof and put up temporary tarps.
All kinds of volunteers are needed so if butch isn't in your portfolio come
help out anyway. Work weekends have been for many people the most fun on the
land, as they are intimate, focused and usually have yummy food.
