Destiny as well as much of the Northeast has been experiencing a huge amount of rainfall. Close to twenty inches of rain has fell in the last two and half months. All this rain has delayed our building projects and before Whitman caused some washout conditions along the road.
The storms have usually been both long lasting and heavy rain fall.
Out of curiousity I checked the National Weather Service's percipation analysis data and we're roughly ten inches over normal rates.
Hopefully this rain will let up so we can camp in peace as well as get the work rolling again.
By the way - the initial forcasts for the start of the gathering look pretty good. See you all on the land.
