• Act 250 re-application proposal is finished and will be submitted by Matt shortly.

• The Sustainability Grant we applied for was not granted.  It makes relative sense, as it came from the same foundation as the Unity Grant we recieved.

• At Annual Meeting on April 7-9, Money Plan-It/Fundraising Moon and Media Plan-It should come together to review the content for a "press packet" with grant "boilerplates" for various grants.

- Money/Fundraising Plan-Its should get together and talk about Destiny letterhead and branding (...no...not THAT kind of branding!)

• QUESTION:  Has the Fundraising Letter been sent out?  Has it been received by anyone?  Please advise

• The Online Gallery is getting organized and Orange has requested jpg's(?) of photos of works of art people are willing to donate for the Gallery to raise funds for Destiny.

• We're almost done paying off the mortgage of the upper parcel!

• In order to meet the building needs projected in the budget plan, we need to raise $20,000

• The Fundraising Moon is researching grants for seed money to provide workshops for the faerie community on:

- timberframe cutting (perhaps too late to fund this one, as it's already beginning)

- timberframe construction

- raising a building frame

• For the grant seed money we are seeking funding to pay for:

- An Instructor

- Food

-Tools (cutting)/Supplies

- Rental Tent for multi-week/long term workers to put their tents under

• We are also seeking funding for stipends for

- a Land Steward

- Project Manager

• With Fundraising, we need to get back to the Database!!!   - Keeping it updated

- Should we get back to the Phone-a-thong since we're in the throes of actual building?

- Is the Power of 3 Campaign still powerful?

- Do we need to cast a new fundraising spell?

• A new Destiny Video?  With the changes that have occurred, perhaps we can create a progressive development piece (before, after, upcoming?).  This would be a good tool for fundraising.

• To what degree do we "market" Destiny at Pride?  Should we avoid being marketing whores and encourage the organic process of individuals discovering Destiny themselves?  Or IS marketing ourselves a step in the process of making ourselves known to the greater community?

• Fundable Workshop Programs:

- Art Education

- Environmental Education

- Community Building

- Spiritual Development?

• The Tiles Project (tiles being developed, created and fired to be installed in new structures) will NOT be a fundraising project for Destiny, but more of a community Art Project.  People will not be charged to create tiles, however, donations are ALWAYS welcome!!       This means that we will need to find funding to pay for:

-the facilitator/artist's transportation

-the cost of firing
