The Faerie Gram was produced by the New York City Radical Faerie Circle, the earliest issue in the archive dates from 1983. It was published until around 2002.

Early on it was a one sheet affair listing upcoming events for the month, eventually it went to a two page when Vinny (JoyBoy) worked on the Gram. It was affectionately known as the Vinny Gram. Then in 1994 a more formal collective formed to help run putting out the Faerie Gram and an ambitious multipage issue came out roughly into 2000 before energy for producing it ebbed with the ascent of the internet. For a short while, the Faerie Gram produced a cyber version called Thyber Thithie.

Many thanks to the Faerie Gram collective members who have donated back issues and the collective's working files especial thanks to JoyBoy, Cypress, Dennis, Trixie, Alexsandra, Keisha and Kenny. Other folks have also shared their copies of the Gram with us as well.

In the future, I'll detail the archives holdings. But if you have issues to share especially early issues, please be in touch.
