The Annual Meeting is fast-approaching.

At our last meeting circles, kweens discussed how our gatherings continue to be a good vehicle for raising funds. So we'd like to capitalize on that ability with intention and fun. Last year's Lammas is one example toward which to aspire. The gathering was full of "programs", rituals, theater, music, sex, great meals and swimming at the Williams River.

Here's are proposed gatherings this season:

Walt Whitman Fri May 23--Mon May 26

Governance? Kitchen finishing? Thurs July 3--Sun or Mon Jul 7

Lammas Fri Jul 25---Sun Aug 3 (Could this be the opening of the Kitchen. We hope!!!)

Fall Foliage Fri Oct 10---Mon Oct 13

So, I'm soliciting kweens to facilitate our gatherings. The Gathering Coordinator facilitates the overall tone of the gathering by organizing folks to carry off the varied chores that need to happen in our currently rustic setting. The website articulates all these chores. The greater circle can thus shape the ambiance and spirit. Thinking ahead and being more intentional allows us to make soulful space by reducing the chore time.

Michel, Bambi, Matt, Jim Jackson and I will be on the Land most of this summer. We'll be committed to the overall process of living on the land. Since we will be up there, we invite all fae to come and join in community any time. But these 5 hearth-keepers would like a broader circle to give shape and voice to our community's gatherings as celebration of the greater Destiny intentional community.

The fae on the land will help you. We'd like to plan ahead, budget, shop wisely, and thoughtfully prepare for the chores of the gathering. Especially, let's envision the ritual, the art, the sacred space.

The Coordinating Plan It and Bambi, Michel, Matt and Dan are talking about ways to simplify our "systems" for purchasing and paying, getting and reimbursing this summer.  We envision some very boring paper trail kinds of stuff, standing accounts with local vendors, and random belt-tightening to be serious about savings.

Can you commit to Gathering Coordination of a gathering? Can you put it on your calendar now?

Lemme know!
