Lammas 2007 — Cornholio Rising

Image
Matt Bucy oversees the last roof beam unaware that the Lammas Wicker-thang, Cornholio, is ready for her ritual.

This weeklong gathering (July 27 — Aug 5) celebrates the harvest of 10 years of building Destiny and the holiday of Lammas.

Explode with tears and laughterat the Faerie Home Companion Dinner Theater (acts wanted)

Stuff yourself — (yeah, baby) on Lammas bread from an outdoor oven we'll (try to) make during the week!

Learn Destiny's forestry management options and dine with neighbors (July 30, workshop at 3, dinner at 6)

Create with your own bare hands giant ancestor and elemental puppets (bring paper bags)

Relish in our community's history with our DIORAMA of DESTINY

Playback key moments in your life in Playback Theater

Explore the queer pagan thang in Wicca 101

Circle circle circle with your queer kin to your heart's content

bathe in the brook,

walk the labyrinth,

watch stars in the meadow

Come celebrate with us!

The cost is free, but donations to our project are deeply appreciated.

The communal food and kitchen is vegetarian

Be prepared for a wide range of weather conditions — It's Vermont.

Bring your own idea to make the gathering magic — a tea ceremony on the top? Frozen drinks by the brook? A workshop on …your passion.

Bring WATER, TENT, FLASHLIGHT, BUG STUFF, BLANKETS, DRUMS, BROWN PAPER BAGS (all you have for paper mache) DRAG, AND OTHER STUFF YOU NEED TO GO CAMPING WITH FAERIES IN THE WOODS.

Please be aware that not everyone is relaxed around dogs, and pets should not be at the center of heart or ritual circles. Faeries are prone to sudden outbursts of squealing, singing, clapping, laughing, and some dogs freak and bite. Please be considerate and responsible for your pet if you choose to bring one.
