Our first set of work weekends are now planned. Be the first one up there!

April 20th - 21st.
We set the first weekend up to be a day on the land, mostly to survey damage over the winter (we usually have downed trees) and to check on the passability of the road. If we're so motivated we can begin to look at the trees that can come out of the "parkland" area between the meadow and the septic mound. Begin with some cleaning of the buildings. Moss has graciously offered to his place for sleepovers and meals.

April 27th - 29th
This is our let's get the place set up for work and gatherings weekend. We'll work on opening up the kitchen and yurt, setting up the picnic tables, digging out firepits, clearing the kitchen gutters, setting up the water, and dealing with setting up the work area for the timber framing. We'll have an ADA toilet delivered as we work on setting up the kitchen toilet. If we're able we might even start timber work.

May 11th - 13th
Usually, we work on getting the kitchen fully ready for the Whitman gathering, inventories are made of supplies, propane tanks are filled, and we tidy up area camp sites. We'll be working full time as well on the timber framing and surely someone will be fussing in the gardens.
