  1. A spiritual sanctuary for people who share and celebrate the Radical Faeries' vision and values. These include: respect for the sacredness of the earth and for all living things; commitment to consensus decision making; the belief that each member has something to contribute to the development of the community's spiritual path; and the ongoing exploration of a unique spirituality that reflects the faerie sensibility.

Faerie Camp Destiny will therefore be:

    1. A venue several times each year for large, multi-day gatherings of Radical Faeries from around the Northeastern U.S..

    2. A short-term spiritual retreat and mutual aid center for a small number of Radical Faeries who are involved in spiritual introspection or who are recovering from physical, spiritual or emotional misfortune.

    3. Over time, a permanent residence for a very limited number of Radical Faeries who have made full-time, long-term commitments to the well-being of the sanctuary.

  2. An Educational clearinghouse for Radical Faeries year round through written, electronic and broadcast medium as well as through focused discussions on the sanctuary's premises. This activity will act to promote dialogue about the mission and activities of the sanctuary among the larger Radical Faerie community and to interested members of the public. In addition, the sanctuary will promote creative cultural expressions of the Radical Faeries' vision including drama, poetry, photography, visual arts, music, dance and other performance arts.

  3. Conservation and Beautification of the Sanctuary --its land, structures and biosphere. The position and design of all communal facilities and personal residences shall be in harmony with nature and shall use fully natural and environmentally-sound technologies.

As a plan-it of service, rather than an approving body, the coordinating plan-it works as an equal with the other plan-its with the specific responsibility of facilitating the process of the Circle.
